Dr. Berger is an exceptional orthodontist. I visited four before seeing him; he was clearly the most knowledgeable and gave me the information I needed to decide the treatment. Now, at the end of my treatment, I am very pleased with the result. He takes as long as you need to answer your questions and address any concerns. The office is a pleasant place to be; all the employees treat each other kindly and work together to make sure your experience is top notch. When treated by an assistant, I usually saw Amber; she careful and pleasant. Lastly, they provided financing for the treatment which allowed me to pay for it with my HSA account. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to get treatment from Berger Orthodontics.
Response from the owner:Nicholas, Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review!

We’re honored that after visiting four orthodontists, you chose our office for your treatment. It means a great deal to know you felt well-informed and confident in your decision, and even more that you’re so pleased with your final results.
Dr. Berger truly believes in taking the time to answer every question and ensure patients feel comfortable every step of the way, so your kind words affirm exactly what we strive for each day. We’re also so glad you had a positive experience with our team — especially Amber!
Providing financing options, including the ability to use HSA accounts, is just one of the ways we aim to make treatment accessible and stress-free, and we’re happy that worked well for you.
Thank you again for trusting us with your smile! 😊

Dr. Berger is so, so amazing!! I have taken two kids here for their orthodontic treatment and him and his team have always been superior to other dental/ortho places I have been. My 5 star review today comes from him going above and beyond to help my son with a problem that wasn't his to fix. My son had oral surgery done by a periodontist from another practice in Arvada and things did not go as planned with his healing process which caused him an immense amount of pain and said perio did not help him one bit. I desperately called Dr. Berger's office with my son's problem and he did not hesitate to help him. He got him in same day and in 24 hours had my son close to as pain free as he could be. My son and I are forever grateful for Dr. Berger's help with this issue and would highly recommend him and his team to anyone needing orthodontia care. 5 STAR care all the way!!
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for this incredibly kind and thoughtful review! We truly appreciate you trusting Dr. Berger and our team with both of your children’s orthodontic care. We’re so sorry your son went through such an unpleasant experience. We were happy to help. Hearing that your son found relief so quickly means the world to us. Your recommendation and kind words about our team are truly appreciated, and we’re honored to be part of your family’s care.
Matt B.
The team there is quick, efficient, well trained and thorough. Would highly recommend.
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re glad you had a great experience and truly appreciate you recognizing our team’s efficiency and training. Your recommendation means a lot to us—we look forward to seeing you again in the future!
Jason O.
Extremely simple customer experience. Every appointment was straight forward and we always knew where we were in the process.
Response from the owner:Thank you for the great feedback! Making the process easy and transparent is very important to us, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
Amber Rose C.
Best Orthodontist and staff around!
I highly recommend 😁
Response from the owner:Thank you Amber.
Maria H.
Loved my consolation, They answered all of my questions and loved how they made it work during my availability. Amazing overall can’t wait to start my journey with Dr. Berger.
Response from the owner:Maria, Thank you so much for your sweet words! We’re really glad you enjoyed your consultation and felt all your questions were answered. It means a lot to us that the timing worked well for you. We’re so excited for you to start your journey with Dr. Berger and can’t wait to be part of it!
Maggie C.
My family has been coming to Berger Orthodontics almost continuously for at least three years now. Between two kids with lots of orthodontic issues, we’ve spent quite a bit of time with Dr. Berger and his staff over this time period. All of that to say, this review was long-overdue and will be lengthy and verbose as I have so many positive things to touch on ;)

Firstly, we are a “special snowflake” family - all sorts of neurodivergent, highly-sensitive, medically-traumatized demographic outliers who really do not take well to phoniness or being patronized. It’s honestly pretty rare for my family to find a healthcare Provider who we feel completely comfortable with, is genuinely caring, accommodating, affirming, down-to-earth, and doesn’t cause us panic and existential dread when we have an upcoming appointment with them. The staff at Berger have consistently checked all of those boxes for us, which is a really big deal given how much time we spend there between both kids. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I think Berger Orthodontics should set the standard for care in any medical or dental establishment.

From the moment we step through the doors to the moment we leave, being in this office feels like visiting with friends. Professional, knowledgeable, caring friends in scrubs, but friends nonetheless. They have taken the time to really get to know my kids, to understand how to effectively communicate with them, how to put their minds to ease, and how to provide treatment in a way that minimizes discomfort. They are respectful and affirming of nervous system and communication differences. They take the time to make sure that my kids feel seen and understood. It’s honestly everything.

I have witnessed firsthand how dedicated this office is to treating everyone with dignity and respect, including members of the lgbtq+ community. Maintaining a culture and environment that feels truly safe for everyone is a high priority for Dr. Berger and the entire staff, and they are doing a remarkable job of protecting that culture within the office, even when it requires difficult conversations. They have proven their dedication to inclusiveness not just with words but with actions.

I’ve honestly grown quite attached to this orthodontic office, and while I’m looking forward to my kids being done with their treatment one day, I may have to then start treatment for my own teeth just so I can keep coming back to say hi! (I’m sort of kidding but not really). It almost feels like a second home now, haha! Everyone there is a pleasure to interact with and deserves praise, but I have to shout out to a few staff members in particular: Amber (Technician and my homegirl), Shannon (Office Manager and such a sweetheart), and Maria (Financial Coordinator who is a pleasure to work with). And of course Dr. Berger himself who is simultaneously an excellent Provider as well as a genuinely GOOD human being AND a cool guy!

I’m going to force myself to wrap it up here, but I honestly wasn’t surprised when I pulled up this google profile to find that they have 140 perfect five-star reviews. Well-deserved 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Response from the owner:Hi, Maggie! Wow, thank you tremendously for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful five-star review. It truly made our day! We always love catching up with your family at appointments, and your kindness and humor never fail to make us smile. Thank you for being such a joy, and for the trust you place in our office. Patients like your family are why we love what we do!

Thank you for making our office such a happy place. We can’t wait to see you all again soon! 😊
Toni H.
Dr Berger is Very detail oriented I love it. She has been working on my teeth for a little over a year due to an accident and I couldn’t be happier. This morning, something came up with my mom, and he was very accommodating and moved my appointment forward. This was not the first time. Many thanks to Dr. Berger and staff!
Response from the owner:Toni, Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience. Your appreciation truly means a lot to Dr. Berger and the entire staff—we look forward to continuing to care for you!
Chelsea S.
Excellent care. Everyone was thoughtful and recommended exactly the smile my daughter wanted!
Response from the owner:Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear that your daughter had a great experience and that our team could help her achieve the smile she wanted. We truly appreciate your trust and support! 😊
Renee L.
This is the best orthodontics in Arvada. You can’t go wrong with them. You’re not treated like a number, everyone is important!
I highly recommend Dr. Berger and his entire staff! But I’d like to take a minute to recognize Amber, Maria and Shannan.
Anytime something went wrong with my granddaughter’s braces they always fit me in to correct the issue. When I was late for an appointment because of my own mistake, I received a call from the office not to say hey you’re late, or were gonna have to cancel and reschedule or charge you a fee! It was a call to say they were concerned because you never miss your appointments. When I called back and said oh my God, I messed up they said no problem. Come on in. We’ll take care of you.
If you want to be treated personable, and with respect, choose Berger Orthodontics!
Response from the owner:Hi Renee! Wow, thank you so much for your very kind review! Everyone is important to us here at Berger Orthodontics and we do our best to accommodate. We appreciate you tremendously!
Lisa S.
I am so happy with my orthodontic care from Dr Berger and the whole team! Being 50+ it’s hard to think about doing orthodontics again. But it was needed after an air bag injury. Dr Berger’s advice and care to my case was excellent. He helped me save my teeth, restore a proper bite and have nicely aligned teeth. Thank you Dr Berger!😁
Response from the owner:Lisa,
Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re grateful you trusted Dr. Berger and our team—especially after such a difficult injury. We’re thrilled you love your results and our team really enjoyed getting to know you! Thank you for sharing your experience!
John
thorough and friendly thanks Kennedy and Dr Berger!
Response from the owner:Thank you for the wonderful review John. You made Kennedy's day!

How are personalized orthodontics designed?

This involves considering factors like alignment, bite, and aesthetic goals to achieve the best results. By customizing the treatment plan, orthodontists can address specific needs and achieve better outcomes for patients. This personalized approach leads to improved comfort, efficiency, and overall satisfaction with the treatment process.
How do retainers maintain orthodontic results?
Retainers maintain orthodontic results by holding teeth in their new positions after braces are removed. They prevent teeth from shifting back, allowing the bone and tissues to adapt to the new alignment, ensuring a lasting and stable smile. Regular wear as directed by the orthodontist is crucial for long-term success.
What innovations exist in orthodontics?
Innovations in orthodontics include InBrace, Invisalign, advanced braces, MARPE/MSE, TADs, airway orthodontics, early orthodontics, and orthognathic surgery. These treatments offer personalized options for all ages, focusing on both function and aesthetics for optimal results.
Is personalized orthodontics more costly?

Factors such as the type of treatment, duration, and complexity can influence the overall cost. It's best to consult with your orthodontist to discuss personalized treatment options and associated costs.
How to choose an orthodontic specialist?
When choosing an orthodontic specialist, consider their experience, treatment options offered (such as braces or Invisalign), patient reviews, and the convenience of the location. Schedule a consultation to discuss your specific needs and ensure a personalized treatment plan.

How to care for orthodontic retainers?
To care for orthodontic retainers, rinse them with water after eating, brush them gently with a soft toothbrush and mild soap, and store them properly when not in use. Avoid exposing them to heat or bending them. Follow your orthodontist's specific care instructions for optimal maintenance.
What are common orthodontic procedures?
Common orthodontic procedures include braces, Invisalign, InBrace, early orthodontics, MARPE/MSE, TADs, Herbst functional treatment, orthognathic surgery, retainers, and emergency care. Each treatment is personalized to address specific orthodontic needs for patients of all ages.
What benefits do orthodontic retainers offer?
Orthodontic retainers help maintain the alignment of teeth post-treatment, prevent relapse, and ensure long-term stability. They are custom-made for each patient and are essential for preserving the results achieved through orthodontic treatment. Retainers are crucial for preventing shifting and maintaining a straight smile.
Can orthodontics correct all bite issues?
Orthodontics can correct many bite issues, including overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites. However, severe cases may require additional treatments like orthognathic surgery for optimal results. It's essential to consult with an orthodontist to determine the best course of action for individual cases.
How does orthodontic insurance coverage work?
Orthodontic insurance coverage typically includes a lifetime maximum benefit for orthodontic treatment. This benefit is often a percentage of the total treatment cost, with the patient responsible for any remaining balance. Prior authorization may be required, and coverage varies based on the specific insurance plan.
What distinguishes various orthodontic practices?
Orthodontic practices can differ in treatment options, technology, personalized care, and patient experience. Services like Invisalign, braces, InBrace, and early orthodontics showcase the range of treatments available. Advanced techniques such as TADs, MARPE/MSE, and airway orthodontics set practices apart in providing comprehensive care for all ages.
How long does orthodontic treatment last?
Orthodontic treatment duration varies based on individual needs, typically lasting 18-24 months. Factors like treatment type, complexity, and patient compliance influence the timeline. Common orthodontic procedures include braces, Invisalign, InBrace, early orthodontics, MARPE/MSE, TADs, Herbst functional treatment, orthognathic surgery, retainers, and emergency care. Each treatment is personalized to address specific orthodontic needs for patients of all ages.
What benefits do orthodontic retainers offer?

They are custom-made for each patient and are essential for preserving the results achieved through orthodontic treatment. Retainers are crucial for preventing shifting and maintaining a straight smile.
Can orthodontics correct all bite issues?
Orthodontics can correct many bite issues, including overbites, underbites, crossbites, and open bites.
